In a recent survey conducted by theCanadian Green Buildings Council, 89% of respondents from BC reported that local building codes have a high impact on whether they decide to “build green”. This is higher than any other province; in comparison only 61% of Albertan respondents and 82% of Ontarian respondents reported the same. By installing CarbonCure's technology, local engineers and architects now have the opportunity to use Butler Brothers ready-mix concrete to help them gain up to four LEED certification points.
"One of the more challenging parts of providing more environmentally friendly solutions to this market has always been the costs to do so," says Vice President, Travis Butler. "That is why CarbonCure's technology is so exciting - through this partnership we can improve both our carbon footprint and bottom line."
