This Privacy Policy also explains how CarbonCure Technologies (Analytics) Inc., an affiliate of CarbonCure, collects, uses, and discloses certain data and information to provide myCC. In this Privacy Policy, when we refer to “we”, “us” and “our”, we mean, CarbonCure and CarbonCure Technologies (Analytics) Inc.

 

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you contact us, access or use myCC or Website or register for our news alerts we will ask you to provide us with personal information.

Contacting Us: If you choose to contact us with an inquiry or question, or to request information about our digital services, you will be asked to provide information that identifies you, such as your name, address, email address and a telephone number, along with additional information relating to your inquiry, question or request. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, question or request and to provide you with other information we believe may be of interest, including CarbonCure news alerts.

myCC: myCC provides you with information about your concrete production and information as to how CarbonCure’s product and services can decrease your embodied carbon (through CO2 sequestration and cement reduction) and with access to our carbon credit program and add-on products and services. myCC also provides access to certain educational resources for the training, sales and marketing of CarbonCure concrete products. In order to access myCC, you must provide your email address, password, full name, and mobile phone number for the purposes of administering your account. We may use this information to administer your account and personalize your experience on myCC.

News Alerts: If you choose to register for CarbonCure news alerts, we will collect your name, email address and telephone number in order to send you these alerts. You can opt-out of receiving news alerts at any time by following the opt-out or “unsubscribe” instructions provided in the email, or by contacting us as set out below.

 

INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

We collect the IP (Internet protocol) addresses of all visitors to the Website or myCC and other related information such as page requests, browser type, operating system and average time spent on the Website or myCC. We use this information to help us understand our Website and myCC activity and to improve our Website and myCC.

myCC: As described above, certain data for myCC is processed by CarbonCure Technologies (Analytics) Inc. and all other aspects of myCC are processed by CarbonCure. CarbonCure Technologies (Analytics) Inc. and CarbonCure share personal information, as necessary for providing myCC.

Service Providers: We may transfer (or otherwise make available) personal information to service providers who provide certain services on our behalf. For example, we may use service providers to host the Website or myCC, store data, provide back-up services (including cloud-based service providers) and manage our communications. Some of our service providers may be located outside of Canada, including in the United States. While outside of Canada, personal information will be subject to applicable foreign laws, which may permit government and national security agencies to access your information in certain circumstances.
