CarbonCure Producers Reach Milestone of 10 Million Truckloads

The major achievement showcases how concrete producers are meeting demand for greener mixes without compromise.

Halifax, Nova Scotia, November 24, 2025 CarbonCure Technologies, a carbon utilization technology company enabling lower-carbon concrete production at concrete plants worldwide, today announced a major achievement: 10 million truckloads of CarbonCure concrete produced to date by its concrete producer network.

“This milestone reflects the extraordinary leadership of our innovative concrete industry partners using CarbonCure to produce high quality, lower carbon mixes,” said Kristal Kaye, interim CEO of CarbonCure. “Each of these 10 million truckloads represents real results. Together, we’re proving that concrete innovation is not an aspiration for the future. It’s happening today, at scale, in communities around the globe.”

CarbonCure’s technologies integrate seamlessly into existing concrete plant operations; after injecting captured CO₂ into fresh concrete, the CO₂ instantly mineralizes and becomes permanently embedded. This enables producers to decrease cement usage while maintaining the concrete's compressive strength.

Paired with a shared-revenue carbon credit model, CarbonCure helps producers offset technology costs and win more business. The combination of environmental and financial benefits has fueled CarbonCure’s position as the world’s most widely deployed carbon utilization solution for concrete sustainability.

“Achieving 10 million truckloads is a testament to the hard work of CarbonCure’s team and the leadership of its producer partners,” said William Holden, Chair of CarbonCure’s Board. “It is exciting to see rapid commercial adoption worldwide driven by the demand for lower-carbon building materials across commercial, residential, infrastructure and fast-growing data center construction segments.”

Totaling more than 83.6 million cubic yards (63.9 million cubic meters), 10 million truckloads would be enough concrete to build a life-size replica of all 30 NFL stadiums, twice. For added perspective: You could park 10 million concrete trucks bumper-to-bumper, and they would stretch from New York to Los Angeles — and back — more than 10 times.

CarbonCure carbon mineralization systems operate in plants across more than two dozen countries, supporting a wide range of concrete specifications and applications and keeping more than 690,000 metric tons of CO₂ out of the atmosphere — equivalent to removing 161,352 gas-powered cars from the road for a year.

“This milestone was made possible by forward-thinking concrete producers who gave innovation a chance and quickly realized the value,” said Onne van der Weijde, Vice Chair of CarbonCure’s Board. “They’ve seen how permanent CO₂ storage and cement reductions translate into economic value and emissions reductions, with carbon credits offering an incentive to accelerate concrete decarbonization.”
