Sustainability Takes Flight: VIH Execujet Joins Forces with CarbonCure

VIH Execujet demonstrates its commitment to sustainability in a multi-year collaboration with CarbonCure Technologies.

Halifax, Nova Scotia & North Saanich, British Columbia, October 23, 2025 — VIH Execujet, a leading business aviation company, today announced the purchase of more than 8,000 high-quality carbon credits through a multi-year offtake agreement with CarbonCure Technologies. This credit partnership with CarbonCure addresses the company’s annual Scope 1 CO₂ emissions from all charter flights over that timespan and demonstrates VIH Execujet’s commitment to sustainability in aviation.

“Safety has always been our top priority, but we recognize that sustainability is essential to the future of business aviation,” said Dave Des Roches, Director of Business Development at VIH Execujet. “The hard-to-abate emissions from aviation operations are a challenge for the entire industry. We are proudly taking responsibility today, not just by offsetting our annual carbon footprint, but by carefully selecting the highest integrity carbon credits that deliver immediate and permanent climate impact.”

This collaboration allows VIH Execujet to distinguish itself from competitors, taking measurable action toward a lower-carbon future, and accelerating the scale of a climate solution creating real-world climate benefits. As a global leader in carbon utilization technologies for the concrete industry, CarbonCure shares the revenue from these carbon credit purchases with its concrete producer partners around the world, helping to catalyze the global scale and use of its technologies, which permanently store captured CO₂ in concrete while also reducing the need for carbon-intensive cement in concrete manufacturing.

Meaningful climate impact means ensuring CO₂ never reaches the atmosphere. While zero-carbon aviation fuel remains a distant goal, CarbonCure’s drop-in decarbonization solution operates today in two dozen countries and hundreds of concrete plants, transforming them into permanent carbon storage facilities and helping the concrete industry lower embodied carbon emissions.

“Hard-to-abate emissions in sectors like aviation are hard to mitigate for a reason, but VIH Execujet’s commitment demonstrates how leadership and accountability can drive meaningful, measurable climate action. Our mineralization systems collect detailed data in real-time, providing the carbon credit integrity demanded by discerning corporations pursuing midcentury net zero goals,” said Kristal Kaye, interim CEO of CarbonCure Technologies. “We applaud VIH Execujet for proving that sustainability can soar alongside safety and performance, creating a powerful example for its peers and setting a high standard for environmental stewardship in aviation.”
