The Position

Reporting to the VP Marketing, the Director of Demand Generation will be responsible for the strategy, development and execution of CarbonCure’s account based marketing (ABM) and multi-channel demand generation programs in North America, to drive high quality leads and ensure we exceed pipeline and revenue goals. Working in lock-step with sales, sales operations, business development, marketing, and the customer success and sustainability teams, your primary responsibility is to drive marketing-sourced and influenced revenue through cohesive, integrated inbound and outbound campaigns, lead nurturing, an effective marketing tech stack, and expert sales/BD/CS enablement. Initial scope will involve North America concrete producers but may expand to project specifiers as well as international responsibilities over time, to support CarbonCure’s mission to achieve 500 megatonnes of annual CO2 emissions reductions through the industry standardization of CO2-utilization in concrete production.


  • Own end-to-end account-based, inbound and outbound lead generation, including strategic planning, budgeting, execution, optimization, and reporting

  • Design multi-channel, multi-touch (digital ads, social media, email marketing, events, direct mail, web and webinars, etc.) demand generation programs designed to drive awareness, engagement and conversion of ideal customer profile in the North America concrete producer market

  • Orchestrate account-based marketing programs in partnership with sales teams to drive pipeline volume and velocity, ensuring alignment and execution

  • Develop nurture strategy and programs designed to leverage content aligned with the buyer journey, to move marketing leads through the marketing funnel to sales-ready stage

  • Identify content requirements and work with SMEs/writers to develop required assets for lead generation and nurturing (webinars, e-books, case studies, blog posts, sales sheets, landing pages, emails etc.)

  • Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the impact of marketing performance (programs, customer segments, campaigns, and channels) on sales pipeline, revenue and sales cycle length; measure effectiveness, performance and ROI of marketing spend and adjust based on results

  • Deliver bi-weekly/monthly performance reports to marketing and sales leadership

  • Work with sales and sales operations to implement marketing and sales process, track and manage lead flow, improve operational processes and reporting and increase conversion rates at each stage of marketing and sales engagement

Our Requirements and Expectations

  • 7-10 years of experience in B2B demand generation, preferably enterprise-level programs (email campaigns, webinars, events, advertising, content, social media, etc.)

  • Account-based marketing experience is strong plus

  • High degree of self-motivation, initiative in sharing information, contributing toward group goals, and being accountable for results. Entrepreneurial drive to build a program that will have a major impact on company bottom line

  • Proven track record for delivering sales results related to the marketing objectives as outlined in the position description

  • Knowledge of best practices for sales and marketing operations, automation and workflow processes; understanding & experience with lead management (lead scoring, nurturing, handoff) marketing automation and demand generation with focus on revenue impact

  • Technology savvy with web, marketing automation (preferably Hubspot or Marketo),, Google Analytics, and other demand generation related tools and platforms

  • Demonstrated experience of partnering with sales and sales leadership on campaigns driving revenue growth

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize issues/escalations, and manage many projects simultaneously

  • Ability to coordinate with other team members of assorted responsibilities situated across multiple time zones

  • Highly analytical and data driven

  • Develop a deep understanding of our product, our target audience and buyer’s journey

  • Familiarity with the construction and concrete industries and topics of green building, circular economy, embodied carbon and climate change is a plus

  • Far-reaching ambition and optimism; approach CarbonCure’s ambitious global growth targets with an optimistic, yet pragmatic “how can we make this happen” attitude

  • Acts like an owner; has a general “get stuff done” mentality

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
